Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Expert who specializes in theme design and building sections. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of Shopify’s platform, writes clean and modular code, and is passionate about creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. They should be comfortable collaborating with team members, conducting presentations, and following the Jira process for efficient project management. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with SEO optimization, be adept at problem-solving, and bring innovative ideas to the table based on their past experiences.

Responsibilities:
1 Proven experience as a Shopify Expert with an ability to comfortably build Shopify stores from scratch.
2 Jira Process: Adhere to the Jira process for task management, issue tracking, and project documentation. Update task status, provide regular updates, and collaborate with team members effectively.
3 Theme Design and Development: Design and build custom themes for Shopify based on client requirements, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience. Develop sections and implement functionalities using Shopify Liquid and HTML/CSS.
4 Code Quality: Write clean, organized, and modular code to ensure maintainability and scalability of Shopify themes. Follow best practices and coding standards.
5 Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and project managers, to understand project goals and deliver high-quality solutions. Conduct meetings, present progress updates, and actively participate in team discussions.
6 SEO Optimization: Have a strong understanding of SEO principles and techniques. Optimize Shopify websites for search engine visibility, including keyword research, meta tags, structured data, and URL structure. Familiarity with PageSpeed optimization and other SEO tools is required.
7 Research and Problem Solving: Conduct research, stay up-to-date with industry trends, and propose innovative solutions based on best practices and past experiences. Bring new ideas and suggestions to enhance the overall quality and performance of the Shopify projects.
8 Sprint Methodology and Team Leadership: Proficient in following Agile methodologies, particularly the Sprint Methodology. Experience in working within a Scrum framework and ability to effectively manage and lead a team through the sprint lifecycle.

Requirements:
1 Proven experience as a Shopify Expert with a strong focus on theme design and development.
2 Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
3 Familiarity with Shopify’s section building capabilities and customization options.
4 Excellent knowledge of SEO principles and techniques, including experience with PageSpeed optimization and other SEO tools.
5 Ability to write clean and maintainable code in a modular fashion.
6 Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working effectively in a team environment.
7 Familiarity with the Jira project management process.
8 Creative and problem-solving mindset with the ability to propose innovative solutions based on past experiences.
9 Detail-oriented, with a focus on delivering high-quality work within established timelines.
10 A portfolio showcasing past Shopify projects and demonstrating a keen eye for design and functionality.
