Job Title: Shopify Front-End Developer and Designer

Location: Remote (US, Central Time Zone hours required: 10am – 2pm, Monday – Friday)

Job Type: Temporary (20+ hours per week) with potential for full-time employment

About Us:
All Volleyball, Inc. is an established e-commerce retailer and as we expand our digital footprint, we are seeking a talented Shopify Front-End Developer and Designer to join our team. This role will focus on launching a new microsite, with a strong emphasis on set-up, configuration, design, and development of an available Shopify theme.

Role Overview:
The Shopify Front-End Developer and Designer will be responsible for bringing our new microsite to life. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and creative flair, ensuring that the microsite is not only functional but also visually appealing and user-friendly. The role is temporary, with the possibility of turning into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with senior staff to understand the project scope and objectives.
– Set up and configure the new Shopify microsite using an available theme.
– Customize the theme to match brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
– Implement responsive design to ensure the microsite functions well on all devices.
– Optimize site performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth navigation.
– Work closely with the content team to integrate text, images, and other media.
– Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a flawless user experience.
– Provide training and support to internal staff for ongoing site management.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Shopify Developer and Designer, with a strong portfolio of projects.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
– Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
– Experience customizing Shopify themes and templates.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
– Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with senior staff via video and chat.
– Excellent English.
– Availability to work US Central Time Zone hours (10am – 2pm, Monday – Friday) is mandatory.
