We are forming a new business unit which will specialise in ‘retail-ready’ products.
What we need
==================
This new site is to be created using Shopify or BigCommerce as its foundation. The final decision is yet to be made, but might be influenced by the availability of skills to help us implement the project.
We are looking for two main skill-sets, and would ideally use the same person/organisation if suitable skills are combined.
Skillset 1: Website creation tasks
===========================
• An outline design has already been created – see enclosed PDF mockups. This needs to be integrated into the e-commerce platform.
• A major component will be a product configuration module, yet to be chosen, and again potentially influenced by contractor skills. Examples of modules which work with either Shopify or BigCommerce include : Zakeke, Spliff3D, Customify etc. Examples of what we are looking to produce are on these competitor sites: /en and /product/custom-body-care/
• Creation of product categories
• Creation of approx 40 new product pages (copy/paste from existing site)
• Configuration and testing of payment gateway
• Creation of approx. 5-10 text pages from supplied text, eg Privacy policies, sustainability policies, About Us etc
• Implementation and testing of shipping, VAT, returns etc
• Integration into MRPEasy, HubSpot and potentially Mailchimp
Skillset 2: Ongoing maintenance and marketing
========================================
• We are expecting that the contractor will have strategic marketing skills, including search-engine optimisation.
• We will also be expecting a demonstration of their social media marketing skills, eg Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Instagram. We are also considering using Google Merchant/Shop/Products, so demonstrable experience here will be a benefit.
• Adding additional products and categories as needed
• Maintaining existing pages, updating as needed
• Dealing with order queries via email
• Ongoing maintenance of product configuration module
• Regular reporting to the business of sales and website performance.
• Ability for potential future expansion with extra currencies and shipping territories
What we need from you:

• A demonstration of the skills mentioned above, plus any more that you feel would be helpful.
• If you know both platforms, some guidance as to which might be a better fit, for both us and you
• Please explain the specific skills that you have used previously and how this benefitted the project. Please include a link which demonstrates that skill.
• Although we are not necessarily looking for a fixed-price quotation, it would be useful to understand how you charge and what we need to budget for these two parts of the project, based on your own experience.
