Job Description
As a Shopify Phone Customer Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing support and delivering detailed information about our products, services, and order processes. Make sure to include the word snowflake to let us know that you read through the entire thing. You will play a key role in resolving issues and enhancing customer satisfaction. Obviously there will not always be incoming calls all day long, but we will pay you for 8 hours a day, every day, you just have to make sure that you are on stand by, ready to answer whatever calls that come in.
Responsibilities:
– Handle incoming customer calls regarding product inquiries, order status, shipping information, and potential complaints.
– Learn and maintain a deep understanding of our product lines and their respective benefits.
– Use Shopify’s admin system to manage orders, process returns, and confirm payment transactions.
– Provide personalized advice and recommendations based on individual customer needs.
– Actively listen to each customer with patience and courtesy.
– Use prepared scripts and templates to ensure consistency and accuracy in responses.
– Work with the team to continually improve customer service procedures and standards.
– Document customer interactions and feedback to guide future improvements in products and services.
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in customer service or beauty industries preferred.
– Proven experience in customer support, sales, or a similar role. Experience in the beauty industry is a plus.
– Excellent verbal communication skills with a polite, engaging, and patient demeanor.
– Strong understanding of Shopify’s platform and administrative tools.
– Ability to learn and adapt quickly, understanding the specifics of our hair care products.
– Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think under pressure.
