Shopify Product Lister/ Admin

Hello!

I am building my high-ticket ecom store on Shopify and need a resourceful VA to help with product listing.
I’ve figured out a way to list hundreds of products’ descriptions (+SKU, UPC, inventory, title, handle, tags, etc) easily by using the Shopify CSV export and transferring data from Suppliers’ spec sheet using Google Sheets (Excel) formulas. Then images for each product will need to be downloaded and uploaded onto the listing.

I have written a detailed SOP to demonstrate how to import the product via the Shopify csv. This may sound scary but I think after learning the formulas, it’s a good skill to have to manipulate/ organize large amounts of data in whatever position you may have.

Duties include:
Opening Supplier spec sheet and arranging data to match the columns of the Shopify csv file
Copying data onto Shopify csv file
Importing files into Shopify to upload the products
Downloading images
Uploading images to the product listing
Checking that the Shopify app I’ve installed is correctly compressing and resizing images to 1000x1000px.
Exporting/ importing Shopify files to make edits and inventory updates
Knowledge of manual listing on Shopify if needed
Daily update notes
Weekly meetings as needed (some may be super brief if no questions or issues reported)

Hygiene standard: Expected product upload speed of about 40 products per 2 hours (after doing our method of bulk importing descriptions via csv)

Requirements:
*High-speed internet connection
*Availability of 15 hrs/week to start. May increase to 20hrs/ week+ as needed
*Honest and willing to learn

Required skills:
ATTENTION TO DETAIL: Be able to spot misspellings, grammatical errors, ensure formulas are applied to the correct SKUs
USE COMMON SENSE: Break large paragraphs up where needed, make sure formulas are applied to each row correctly, etc.
INDEPENDENT: Able to work independently after being trained
RESOURCEFUL: Can find solutions utilizing Google, Youtube, etc.
QUICK LEARNER: Can learn quickly and adapt quickly if any listing procedures change a bit to be more efficient
EXCEL/ GOOGLE SHEETS: Be able to filter, sort, arrange data, apply formulas like CONCATENATE and XLOOKUP efficiently, thoroughly, and accurately

Highly preferred skills
Knowledge of and Excel and Google Sheets and using/ inputting their formulas
Basic html like paragraph breaks, adding url link, headers, bullet points- to organize the data

Other duties, after demonstrating proficiency of listing products, may include finding new suppliers/ distributors, gathering their contact information, and inputting it into our contact sheet.
