We are seeking a talented and detail – oriented Shopify Product Researcher to join our team!

About the Role
You will play a critical role in identifying and analyzing products that align with market trends, customer preferences, and profitability. Your insights and recommendations will directly impact our product selection and overall business success. This position requires a strong understanding of E-commerce, market research, and the ability to stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of online retail.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behavior, and market demands.
• Monitor competitors’ strategies and product offerings to identify opportunities and potential threats.
• Analyze data and consumer insights to make data-driven product recommendations.
• Identify potential products for E-commerce by evaluating market demand, competition, and profit potential.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and sales, to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Use data analysis tools and platforms to evaluate the viability and success of potential products.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient product sourcing.
• Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to maximize profitability.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain a reliable network of partners.
• Coordinate product testing and quality control procedures to ensure all products meet established standards.
• Address any issues related to product quality, delivery, or performance promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the inventory management team to optimize stock levels and prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Analyze sales data to forecast product demand and adjust inventory accordingly.
• Continuously monitor industry trends, best practices, and advancements in E-commerce.
• Apply newfound knowledge to improve product research strategies and stay competitive.

Qualifications:
• At least 2-3 years experience in E-commerce industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Familiarity with E-commerce platforms, tools, and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and suppliers.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and consumer trends.
• A passion for e-commerce and an understanding of customer behavior in online retail.
