Position Overview:
The Shopify Site Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing our e-commerce presence. You will be tasked with overhauling our existing Shopify store, employing state-of-the-art tools and strategies to create a visually appealing, highly functional, and user-friendly shopping environment. This role demands a blend of technical prowess, creative flair, and a keen understanding of e-commerce dynamics to optimize our online presence and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Upgrade: Utilize advanced design tools such as GemPages (or equivalent) to revamp our Shopify store, ensuring a modern, intuitive, and engaging user interface that reflects our brand’s vision and values.
Sales Funnel Creation and Monitoring: Leverage platforms like Funnelish (and similar tools) to design, implement, and oversee sales funnels. Your goal will be to optimize the customer journey, from initial engagement to post-purchase, enhancing conversion rates and customer retention.
SEO Optimization: Focus on fundamental SEO strategies to improve our store’s visibility on search engines. Implement best practices for keyword optimization, meta descriptions, and content relevance to ensure our products and scientific solutions are easily discoverable online.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Sales and content writers to align the online store’s strategy with overall sales goals and content strategies. Your collaboration will ensure a cohesive and brand-aligned customer experience across all online touchpoints.
Required Experience and Skills:
Proven experience in managing and optimizing Shopify stores, with a portfolio or case studies showcasing past work and achievements.
Proficiency in using design tools (e.g., GemPages) and sales funnel software (e.g., Funnelish) to create high-converting e-commerce environments.
Solid understanding of basic SEO principles and their application to e-commerce, with a track record of improving online visibility and traffic.
Some experience running Ad campaigns on Google would be an addition but is not required.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions and continuous improvements.
