POSITION SUMMARY:
Attention Grabbing Media seeks a highly skilled Shopify Developer, with a focus on Liquid code expertise, to enhance our digital commerce initiatives. The perfect candidate will not only possess an in-depth knowledge of Shopify and its customization capabilities through Liquid but also bring creative design and solid technical implementation skills to the table.

OBJECTIVES:
– Develop, design, and manage Shopify e-commerce sites, emphasizing custom functionalities created with Liquid.
– Guarantee responsive design and optimize site performance across devices.
– Implement, customize, and maintain third-party Shopify apps and integrations.
– Work closely with the marketing team to refine user experience and site navigation.
– Address and solve technical problems related to the Shopify platform.
– Keep abreast of the latest Shopify capabilities and e-commerce trends.
– Educate the internal team on product management and e-commerce strategies.

COMPETENCIES:
– Profound knowledge of Shopify’s architecture and Liquid templating language.
– Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
– A good grasp of UI/UX principles, e-commerce best practices, and SEO strategies.
– Experience with Shopify’s API for custom applications is a plus.
– Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
– Detail-oriented with the ability to manage projects in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
– No college degree is required
– Previous agency experience is a plus but not required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
– Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
