Shopify Web Designer and Developer

Hi! We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Plus Web Designer and Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Shopify Plus websites for our business. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web design, development, and Shopify Plus platform customization.

Responsibilities:

Design visually appealing and user-friendly Shopify Plus websites that align with our brand identities and marketing objectives.
Customize Shopify Plus themes and templates to meet the brand’s specifications and enhance user experience.
Develop custom Shopify Plus features, functionality, and integrations using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.
Optimize Shopify Plus websites for performance, speed, and SEO.
Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and functionality.
Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in web design, development, and Shopify Plus platform updates.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Shopify Plus websites, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Communicate project status, updates, and timelines effectively to team members.
Collaborate with other team members to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

Proven experience designing and developing Shopify Plus websites, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
Experience with Shopify Plus platform customization, including theme development, app integration, and API usage.
Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Available to work United States daytime hours when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Shopify Plus certification.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
