A highly successful Branding Agency based in the UK is looking to hire an expert SHOPIFY WEB DEVELOPER. If you have the skills to do liquid coding to develop Shopify themes, interest in UX/UI Designing, resolving technical issues like bugs, and understands conversion rate optimization – then this JOB is for YOU!
????RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Serve as the go-to Shopify expert in the company, demonstrating a deep passion and obsession for Shopify and staying on top of industry trends, emerging features, and best practices
* Drive the e-commerce initiatives by leveraging expertise in Shopify and agency experience to deliver exceptional online experiences for the clients
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and translate them into effective Shopify solutions that align with client needs and objectives
* Utilise Liquid coding to develop and customise Shopify themes, implementing unique functionalities and resolving any bugs or issues that may arise
* Take ownership of non-technical tasks such as product uploads, catalogue management, and content updates, ensuring accuracy and consistency
* Demonstrate initiative and actively contribute ideas to improve processes, enhance the culture, and align with the vision of the company
* Understand and appreciate UX design principles, applying them strategically to optimise the customer journey and improve conversion rate optimization (CRO)
* Uphold a high level of design standards, ensuring that Shopify projects maintain a visually appealing and cohesive aesthetic
* Assist with overflow work in that department, which may include site testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting for WordPress
* Share extensive knowledge of Shopify with the team, serving as a mentor and providing guidance on best practices, new features, and technical expertise
* Stay updated with the latest Shopify advancements and industry trends, actively seeking opportunities to enhance the clients’ online presence and deliver innovative solutions
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to gather requirements, provide recommendations, and execute projects effectively
* Act as the primary point of contact for Shopify-related queries, troubleshooting, and support within the organisation, leveraging your in-depth knowledge and expertise.
????QUALIFICATIONS:
* A minimum of 3 years of extensive experience and expertise as a Shopify Web Developer or in a similar role, accompanied by a demonstrable track record of successful project delivery
* Agency experience is strongly preferred, demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
* Proficiency in Liquid coding and the ability to troubleshoot and fix bugs effectively
* Strong attention to detail and a willingness to handle both technical and non-technical tasks
* A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
* Familiarity with UX design principles and the ability to create user-centric experiences
* Passion for staying updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies
* Experience in WordPress development is a plus, enabling support for overflow work
