Shopify Web Developer

I am in search of a Shopify web developer to join our growing agency, we are a small team of 5 people.

Job responsibilities:

– You will be editing existing theme code, creating custom functionality to existing themes, and creating new pages and functionality to stores. You will be working on various projects for our many different clients every week.
– You will need to thoroughly test the code and changes you make, to make sure your work is functional and bug-free across desktop and mobile on all major browsers.

Requirements:

– Strong experience working in Shopify Development and knowledge of HTML, CSS, jQuery, Javascript, Liquid, and Shopify Metafields.
– Knowledge of of various popular Shopify apps (Bold apps, ReCharge, Bundle Builder, etc), and knowing how to work with third-party APIs (Klaviyo, etc) is a plus.
– Knowledge of Terminal and Git is necessary since that is what we will be using for code version control.
– Knowledge of Shopify CLI or Shopify Theme Kit is necessary as you will be pulling down theme code and working on it on your local machine, using command line tools to sync files back to the store.
– Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
– Be able to easily communicate in written English.
– 2 years experience as a web developer working with Shopify
– You will need to be available to work during United States EST timezone, from 8 AM to 2 PM EST from Monday to Friday. These times are mandatory.
