OBJECTIVES
– Join on client meetings to discuss and understand the goals of their Shopify store; help clients visualize a general concept and framework.
– Draft initial proposals and wireframes that include graphics and text.
– Present initial concept wireframes to internal stake holders; continually modify and consult with internal stake holders to meet their expectations.
– Create, embed, and/or reference text, audio, and video web content according to clients’ needs and preferences.
– Provide ongoing site maintenance, updates, and support.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

– HTML, CSS, and [removed] Strong understanding of front-end technologies to create responsive and visually appealing designs.
– Shopify Theme Development: Ability to create and customize Shopify themes from scratch; experience with theme modification and enhancement.
– Shopify App Integration: Knowledge of integrating third-party apps and plugins to extend the functionality of the store; ability to develop custom Shopify apps using Shopify’s API.
– Back-End Development: Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Ruby on Rails (Shopify’s framework); experience with API integrations and data management.
– eCommerce Best Practices: Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for eCommerce sites; knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design to optimize conversion rates.
