Job Description

We are in search of a talented and experienced Freelance Shopify Web Developer to collaborate on a per-project basis, working closely with our team to create, maintain, and enhance our Shopify e-commerce website.
This role is open to both individual freelancers and agencies.

Job Responsibilities:

o Shopify Development:
Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and objectives for our Shopify e-commerce website.

o Theme Customization:
Customize Shopify themes to create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive e-commerce website.

o App Integration:
Integrate and configure Shopify apps and extensions to enhance website functionality.

o Front-End Development:
Implement user interfaces based on design mockups, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

o Back-End Development:
Develop and maintain server-side components, databases, and server applications for e-commerce website functionality.

o Coding and Scripting:
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, Liquid, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks.

o Testing and Debugging:
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring optimal website performance and functionality.

o Performance Optimization:
Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and security, implementing performance enhancements as needed.

o Responsive Design:
Ensure websites are responsive and function flawlessly on various devices and browsers.

o Payment Gateway Integration:
Configure and integrate payment gateways, ensuring secure and smooth payment processing.

o Collaboration:
Maintain clear and open communication with our team throughout the project, addressing their e-commerce requirements.

o Project Documentation:
Keep project documentation organized and up to date, including code comments and project notes.

Job Requirements:

o Shopify Expertise:
Proven experience in Shopify web development with a portfolio showcasing previous Shopify e-commerce projects.

o Theme Customization:
Proficiency in customizing Shopify themes to meet client branding and functional requirements.

o App Integration:
Experience in integrating and configuring Shopify apps to enhance e-commerce websites.

o Coding Proficiency:
Strong coding skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design techniques.

o Testing and Debugging:
Expertise in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting Shopify e-commerce applications.

o Payment Gateway Integration:
Knowledge of payment gateway integration and experience with popular payment processors.

o Responsive Design:
Ability to create responsive e-commerce websites that work seamlessly on various devices and browsers.

o Attention to Detail:
Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in e-commerce development work and project management.

o Collaboration:
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and our team, taking into account their specific e-commerce needs.

o Project Management:
Self-discipline and time management skills to meet project deadlines, deliver high-quality work, and manage multiple e-commerce projects simultaneously.

o PSD/Figma to Web Pages
Convert PSD or Figma designs into visually engaging and high-converting landing pages, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to a fully functional web page.

o Theme Version Control
Manage theme version control to maintain the stability, security, and consistency of our Shopify website, while implementing updates and improvements as needed.
