As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and skilled Shopify Web Developer to join our remote team. If you have a knack for creating stunning, user-friendly online stores and are ready to take your career to the next level, we want you!

Role Overview

As a Shopify Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our Shopify websites, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and efficient online shopping experience. Working closely with our design and marketing teams, you’ll bring our digital vision to life, contributing to our mission of being Australia #1 store for wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy custom Shopify themes and functionalities.
Implement and customize third-party and platform-supported apps.
Optimise website performance to ensure fast loading times.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility.
Conduct website maintenance and enhancements.
Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Provide technical support and resolve issues related to the e-commerce platform.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Shopify Web Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify sites (Minimum 5 Years)
Proficient in Shopify’s Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
Experience with Shopify’s object/properties, AJAX API, and Webhooks.
Excellent understanding of e-commerce SEO practices.
Familiarity with Shopify Plus is preferred.
Ability to work with version control systems such as Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English.

Additional Requirements

Work Hours: Must be available to work during Australian business hours (AEST). 38 Hours per week. Ready to start at 9am Brisbane time.
Case Studies: Applicants must submit case studies of previous work, demonstrating their expertise and impact on project success.
