Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shopify Web Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our Shopify-based e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth functionality, and implementing new features to enhance the user experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in web development (with coding background), specifically with Shopify, and is passionate about creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the marketing team to implement website updates and new features on the Shopify platform.
Customize and optimize the Shopify theme to align with Stojo’s brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and integrations to streamline business processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve any front-end and back-end issues related to the Shopify platform.
Optimize website performance, including page load times, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Shopify Web Developer or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Shopify, including theme customization, app development, etc.
Proficient in front-end web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Nice to have:
Experience with Liquid templating language.
Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms and technologies.
