We are looking for a technical wizard who is not only proficient in Shopify development but also has a keen eye for e-commerce optimization, data analysis, and user experience enhancement.

Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

– Developing and Customizing Shopify Platform: Enhance our Shopify site by adding new features and functionalities, ensuring a seamless, engaging user experience.
– Improving Conversion Rates: Specifically focus on increasing the landing to product view and checkout to purchase conversion rates, implementing strategies to bridge the gap towards industry benchmarks.
– Optimizing Site Across Devices: Guarantee uniform performance across mobile, desktop, and tablet, aiming for the 50-70% conversion range.
– Enhancing Traffic Source Conversion: Strategically improve conversion from direct and paid traffic, making use of analytics to inform decisions.
– Revamping Landing Pages: Overhaul the homepage, product pages, collections, and general pages to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
– Solving Navigation and Usability Issues: Address site navigation and hero section effectiveness, enabling easy category shopping and visible site search.
– Executing Improvement and Test Concepts: Implement menu adjustments, add star ratings to product grids, enhance collection headers, and develop compelling homepage content.
– Addressing International Checkout Challenges: Tackle checkout to purchase conversion rate disparities across different countries, focusing on non-US users.

Requirements:
– Experience: Proven track record in Shopify site development and e-commerce optimization, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
– Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid. Experience with A/B testing, analytics tools, and SEO principles.
– Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions to enhance site performance.
– Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capability to address and rectify technical and user-experience issues.
– Communication: Strong project management and communication skills, able to convey technical concepts and strategies effectively.
