Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented Web Developer with expertise in Shopify, SEO, and App Development for a full-time role. This remote position is ideal for a professional who can work from anywhere.
Work Hours:
8:30am – 5pm AEST, Monday – Friday (40 hours per week). Please note that this is a different time zone to yours.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and enhance our Shopify websites to ensure an engaging and intuitive online customer experience.
Continuously optimise our website’s speed and performance.
Add and manage plugins, such as quizzes, forms, scrolling bars, etc.
Lead the development of a new, complex App for the Apple Store, including extensive coding and multiple links. This will be a major initial project, followed by ongoing maintenance and updates.
Extend beyond standard Shopify themes by coding and creating visually appealing and functional websites.
Create landing pages using PageFly.
Craft and execute effective SEO strategies to boost our website’s visibility and ranking.
Conduct monthly SEO audits and implement findings.
Optimise images and mobile performance.
Perform A/B testing.
Conduct competitor analysis and manage keywords.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Demonstrated experience in web development, with a strong emphasis on Shopify.
Comprehensive knowledge of SEO principles and practices.
Experience in conducting comprehensive SEO audits and implementing findings.
Proven ability to develop complex apps and have them published on the Apple Store.
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with a keen eye for detail.

*Performance Optimisation Examples – Examples of websites you have optimised for performance, detailing the techniques used and improvements achieved.
Test Tasks:
*Keyword Optimization:
Task: Choose one product from our store and provide a brief keyword optimisation strategy. Include 3-5 relevant keywords and explain why you chose them.
*Basic Shopify Customization:
Task: Provide a simple mockup of a Shopify product page to improve its visual appeal and user experience.
