Shopify Web Developer with Backend Automation Expertise

We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Web Developer with a strong background in backend development and automation tasks to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Shopify ecosystem, including theme architecture, Shopify’s Liquid templating language, and the new JSON template language. Additionally, you will be responsible for connecting and integrating various systems, third-party software, and performing miscellaneous backend tasks to streamline our operations.

– Develop and customize Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
– Occasionally refactor code-base to maintain standards and keep code consistency
– Implement and maintain Shopify’s new JSON template language.
– Implement changes from Design team/ CRO team to keep a highly optimized version of the website
– Integrate third-party applications and systems with Shopify to enhance functionality and user experience.
– Develop and maintain automation scripts to connect various systems and streamline workflows.
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify platform and backend integrations.
– Ensure website performance, speed, and security.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce technology.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Shopify Web Developer, with a strong portfolio of Shopify projects.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
– Familiarity with APIs and webhooks for integrating systems.
– Backend script building with nodeJs
– Deep understanding of Shopify theme architecture and Shopify’s new JSON templating language.
– Experience with backend development, including integrating third-party applications and automating tasks.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
