Shopify webpage developer

Hempo Ltd., a fast-growing company in the hemp industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Shopify Web Developer to join our team. We are looking for a skilled web developer who will take the lead in managing and maintaining our websites. This role involves improving the user experience, in line with our ever-changing and growing projects. The successful candidate will need to implement new features, enhance existing ones, and ensure the overall performance of our websites is optimal.

Key Responsibilities:

Refine and optimize our existing Shopify website’s code for improved SEO results and loading speed.
Implement necessary website improvements, both visually and functionally, to enhance the overall user experience.
Recreate and adapt our website for different geographic markets.
Redesign the webpage based on UI/UX design provided by our designer, once we establish your skill level is high enough for us to start working long-term.
Qualifications:

Demonstrable experience with Shopify, including the ability to modify and manage themes, set up a store, and create responsive designs.
In-depth knowledge of web development languages, including Liquid, HTML, and CSS.
Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
Prior experience with SEO implementation is beneficial, but not required.
Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

The initial part-time contract will be for 10-20 hours per week, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance (we could also consider a part time job).
