Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Website Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will deeply understand Shopify development, including customisation, app implementation, and coding for design changes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain functional, responsive, and visually appealing Shopify websites for clients
– Research and implement optimal apps for client websites and configure them for maximum effectiveness
– Customise Shopify themes and templates, including coding for design changes
– Optimise websites for performance, SEO, and user experience
– Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bug-fixing
– Stay updated with Shopify features and best practices
– Develop new Shopify themes as required
Experience and Requirements:
– A reliable laptop and stable internet connection is a must
– Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing Shopify projects.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid
– Excellent communication, Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Knowledge of SEO best practices and copywriting
– Ability to manage tasks and workload effectively
– Experience in setting up Shopify stores, including building the store back end and connecting domain and email
– Ability to create Shopify training resources for clients
– Experience with email flows with Klaviyo but not essential
– Experience with setting up and integrating Facebook Meta pixels to Shopify but not essential
