Role and Responsibilities:

Editing Short Form Videos for Social Media:
-Edit raw video footage
-Craft engaging and high-quality short form videos tailored for various social media platforms.
-Ensure that each video aligns with the brand’s voice and objectives while maintaining creativity and innovation.
-Collaborate with the content team to conceptualize and execute video ideas.

Keeping Up with Trends:
-Stay updated with the latest trends in social media, particularly in video content.
-Analyze and incorporate trending styles, formats, and techniques into video edits to enhance audience engagement and relevance.

Project Management Board Maintenance:
-Diligently update the project management board with the progress of each task.
-Ensure all relevant information is accurately and promptly recorded to facilitate team coordination and project tracking.

SMART Expectations:

-Time-Effective Editing: Each video edit should be completed within approximately 2-4 hours, optimizing efficiency without compromising quality.
-On-Time Delivery: Ensure that all edits are delivered on schedule, adhering to the set deadlines.
-Prioritizing Revisions: Any revisions required should be addressed and prioritized within 24 hours to maintain workflow and client satisfaction.
-End of Day (EOD) Reporting: Submit a daily EOD form detailing all completed work, maintaining transparency and accountability.

Internal Meetings:

-Bi-Weekly Editor Training: Participate in editor training sessions twice a week to enhance skills and stay updated with editing tools and techniques.
-Monthly Team Meetings: Engage in monthly team meetings to discuss strategies, progress, and team objectives, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Note: This role requires a blend of creativity, color grading skills, technical proficiency, and excellent time management skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about video editing, adept at adapting to fast-paced environments, and committed to continuous learning and development in the field of social media content creation.
