As a Short Form Video Editor at Tayde Aburto Consulting, you will be responsible for editing and assembling captivating, high-quality videos that are optimized for social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts. You will collaborate with me to produce content that resonates with my target audience, drives engagement, and supports my brand vision.

Responsibilities:

– Edit and assemble video footage, ensuring the final product is consistent with the creative vision, brand guidelines, and technical specifications.
– Collaborate with me to develop storyboards, concepts, and scripts for short-form video content.
– Edit video content for various social media platforms, adjusting aspect ratios, dimensions, and formats as needed.
– Apply color grading, sound editing, and other post-production techniques to enhance the final product.
– Ensure content meets quality standards.
– Keep up-to-date with trends in short-form video content and editing techniques, and make recommendations for new approaches to content creation.
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, or a related field if possible.
– Experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in short-form video content.
– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, and the unique requirements for video content on each platform.
– Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging narratives and convey complex information in a concise and visually appealing manner.
– A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics, including color grading, sound design, and pacing.
– Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changes in project requirements, and manage tight deadlines.
– Knowledge of motion graphics and animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
