We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Short Form Content Video Editor to join our creative team. This is a dynamic role that requires someone who is readily available and can deliver high-quality videos within tight deadlines, typically within 1-3 days. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engaging jump cuts, captivating captions, and eye-catching graphics, while also demonstrating versatility in editing styles to cater to different projects and target audiences.
Responsibilities:
– Edit short form content videos, including but not limited to social media clips and promotional videos with precision and creativity.
– Implement engaging jump cuts, ensuring seamless transitions and captivating visual effects to enhance storytelling and maintain viewer interest.
– Incorporate attention-grabbing captions that effectively convey the message and complement the video content.
– Integrate graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance the overall production value and deliver a polished final product.
– Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project requirements, objectives, and brand guidelines.
– Communicate effectively with team members, providing regular updates on project progress and seeking feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
– Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in video editing, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to enhance the quality of our content.
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in short form content editing.
– Proficiency in industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
– Excellent knowledge of jump cuts, pacing, and timing, with the ability to create visually engaging and compelling videos.
– Strong understanding of captioning techniques and how to effectively utilize them to enhance storytelling and engage viewers.
– Familiarity with graphic design principles and the ability to incorporate graphics and animations seamlessly into video projects.
– Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality videos within 1-3 days.
