Short Form Video editor

About the Position:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with a passion for storytelling through short-form content. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and have a proven track record of producing engaging, high-quality videos for platforms such as YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and more.

Core Responsibilities:
Edit and produce compelling short-form video content that aligns with our brand’s voice and audience interests.
Collaborate with the content team to develop creative concepts and storyboards.
Utilize Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing, including cutting footage, adding music, sound effects, color correction, and graphics.

Ensure all content is produced on schedule and meets quality standards.

Requirements:
Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing, specifically with Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience in creating short-form content for social media platforms is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:
Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro is required.
Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
Knowledge of color grading, audio editing, and graphic design

Creative Skills: Strong storytelling ability, with a knack for engaging audiences through visual content. Ability to adapt content to various social media platforms and audiences.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Portfolio: Applicants must submit a portfolio of their work, showcasing their best short-form content projects.
Communication Skills: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable Qualities:
A keen eye for emerging trends in digital media and short-form content.
Experience with motion graphics and animation.
Ability to receive and implement feedback constructively.
