Scale With Video is a leading short form content agency specializing in creating engaging videos for various platforms. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our team.

As a Video Editor at Scale With Video, you will be responsible for editing and delivering high-quality short form video content that captures the attention of our audience. You will collaborate closely with our project manager and work within our established workflows to ensure timely delivery of exceptional video content.

**Responsibilities:**

– Download, organize, and manage footage provided by clients using designated file-sharing platforms (Dropbox or Google Drive) or cloud storage services.
– Edit 2-3 short form video pieces per day following project requirements, brand guidelines, and client preferences.
– Create compelling storylines and captivating visuals to engage and retain viewers’ attention.
– Incorporate text overlays, motion graphics, music, sound effects, or voice-overs to enhance the impact and message of the videos.
– Implement color grading, visual effects, and other post-production techniques to enhance the overall visual quality of the content.
– Collaborate closely with the project manager to understand the creative brief, target audience, and desired tone for each video.
– Revise and iterate on video edits based on feedback and direction provided by the project manager.
– Ensure that videos meet technical specifications and platform requirements for optimal playback and performance.
– Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and software advancements to continuously improve editing skills and workflows.
– Maintain an organized file management system, including proper archiving and version control of project files.

**Requirements:**

– Understands how to use [Frame.](Click to view)IO, Dropbox, and Click to view
– Proven work experience as a Video Editor in a short form content agency or a similar fast-paced environment.
– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
– Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, visual composition, and attention to detail.
– Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects is a plus.
– Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with the project manager and other team members.
– A strong portfolio that showcases your video editing skills and creativity.
– Familiarity with social media platforms and their video requirements is advantageous.
– Passion for creating engaging video content and keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
– Is proficient in After Effects, premiere pro or canva
Payment:

We pay out on a monthly basies per video completed. $20-$50 depending on quality of the edit.

You will be in 90 day trial once hired. From there pay raise will be considered.
