SHORT FORM VIDEO EDITOR (Including Subtitles)

We are seeking a skilled and creative Short Form Video Editor to join our team and assist with editing and subtitling 150 videos for our social media clients with the opportunity of on going consistent monthly work.

As a video editor, you will play a crucial role in transforming a prepped & coloured single clips into engaging, and impactful short videos. Removing breaths, pauses, erms and any mistakes. Then adding smart, simple modern subtitles.

Responsibilities:

– Expertise in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to refine and enhance the already-cut video clips, ensuring consistent visual style, and professional quality.

– Subtitle Creation: Add accurate and aesthetically pleasing subtitles to the videos to make the content accessible to a broader audience and improve engagement.

– Creative Direction: Collaborate with our creative team to understand the clients’ brand guidelines and ensure that the videos align with their visual identity, tone, and messaging.

– Timely Delivery: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality edited videos with subtitles, maintaining consistency and excellence throughout the project.

– Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of edited videos to ensure they meet our clients’ standards and are error-free before final delivery.

– Communication: Keep open lines of communication with the creative team, providing updates on progress, addressing any concerns, and seeking feedback as needed.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing and subtitling skills.
– Proficiency in video editing software and subtitle creation tools.
– Understanding of social media platforms and video optimization for each platform.
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across multiple videos.
– Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a high volume of projects.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Creativity and willingness to explore new editing techniques and trends.
