*About Freelance video editor role
nexera is not a typical video editing agency. We work with multiple clients at a time on a subscription-based service. This means we provide consistent & high-quality video content daily/ monthly/ weekly. nexera is currently looking for a teammate for a remote freelance Video Editor position. The Video Editor will be working with multiple clients and delivering repurposed or new video content consistently. We are a fully self-funded company, thus standing by our vision, purpose, values, and goals helps us to provide our services to the masses. We are a truly hard-working creative group of people looking for a unique, passionate, and driven individual!
*A great fit for this specific role is a person:
– with 1-2 years of relevant experience in video editing
– who is into social media and knows how to create specific content for different platforms
– A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and a willingness to learn and grow as an editor.
– Understand different editing styles for difference niches(marketing, podcast, ads, How to videos, etc.)
– who is proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
– who has strong time management skills
– who is fluent in written and spoken English
– persistent and extremely goal-oriented
– Has an ability to act upon actionable feedback.
*Key Objectives and Responsibilities:
As we tend to grow, your roles might evolve over time, but here is what we’re expecting today:
– working with your client(-s) on video requests and communicating throughout the editing process through dedicated slack channel.
– be responsive to re-edit phase comments.
– editing short/quick span videos.
– repurposing and resizing content to different platforms.
– resizing videos to fit different platforms.
– the primary focus of our videos is the retention rate, thus creating visual hooks within the first 3s is highly important.
– we expect you to edit a video in 2-4h after you get familiar with the style and needs of your client. Our strict deadlines is at a maximum of 24-hour turnaround time per video, showcasing your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
