To support prospective medical students, 99ForMed provides a range of preparatory tools, including mentored lessons, an extensive online theory video library, interactive Discord Q&A support, and a customized syllabus designed to enhance UCAT and interview performance. ### Your Role as a Short Form Video Editor
Previously, 99ForMed relied primarily on word-of-mouth for student recruitment. This year, we are shifting to a more aggressive marketing strategy to increase our intake from 40 to 200 students annually. This strategy involves a three-person team:
– **Social Media Manager:** Develops marketing campaigns and strategies.
– **Content Script Writer:** Crafts scripts for marketing content.
– **Short Form Video Editor:** Edits and posts short-form videos as part of the marketing strategy, and analyzes social media metrics.
As the Short Form Video Editor, you will collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Content Script Writer to produce and refine video content. Your responsibilities will include editing, posting videos, and gathering data on their performance.
### How to Apply Successfully
To apply for this position, you will be tested on your editing skills using a sample piece of raw footage and additional clips, which you will edit according to a provided script. The final edited video should match a given reference video in style and content. Applicants are required to record their editing process, which will be evaluated based on efficiency, speed, and quality. The top candidate will be invited for an interview to further assess compatibility with our team’s dynamics and communication style. Successful candidates will receive a weekly salary, negotiable based on experience and skills.
