Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Long/-Term Rental Researcher to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct thorough research on Long/short-term rental markets and properties in various locations. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, be well-versed in market trends, and possess the ability to gather and synthesize data to provide valuable insights to the company.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive research on short-term rental markets in different locations, including analyzing supply and demand, occupancy rates, pricing trends, and regulatory considerations.
Identify and evaluate potential short-term rental properties by examining property listings, amenities, occupancy history, rental rates, and customer reviews.
Collect and analyze data from various sources, such as online platforms, industry reports, market research databases, and local real estate agents, to assess market opportunities and risks.
Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging markets to stay informed about the latest developments in the short-term rental industry.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to provide insights and recommendations based on research findings.
Prepare and present reports and presentations summarizing research findings, market analysis, and property evaluations to key stakeholders.
Assist in developing pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and operational plans based on research insights.
Maintain accurate and organized records of research findings, databases, and other relevant information.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Real Estate, or a related field or 5 -6 years of experience.
Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar research-focused role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data effectively.
Knowledge of the short-term rental industry, market dynamics, and industry-specific platforms and trends.
Proficiency in using research tools, databases, and software to gather and analyze data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Attention to detail and accuracy when conducting research and documenting findings.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make data-driven recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data visualization tools.
