Job Description

We are AV Hughes Properties, a short term rental business providing serviced and fully equipped accommodation to all kinds of guests including contractors, corporates, relocating families and leisure. We operate in the Midlands and Manchester and we are continuing to grow as a business.

We are currently looking for a Short Term Rental VA to take our guests through their booking journey from initial enquiry, during their stay all the way through to checking-out and leaving a review.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the management of our properties, managing the guest experience, and ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have experience in short-term rental management, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

* Dealing with new booking enquiries from various platforms
* Negotiating bookings within parameters provided
* Using to manage new bookings, pricing, discounts and communications
* Assisting in scheduling maintenance and turnover cleans
* Manage trades to provide maintenance and schedule deep cleans and carpet cleaning
* Coordinating with our cleaning teams, maintenance, and inspections to ensure they are completed on time and to a high standard
* Tracking progress with complaints/repairs and addressing any issues that arise during the guests stays
* Basic bookkeeping tasks including downloading expense invoices and creating guest invoices/Payment Links on Stripe
* Dealing with difficult guests or clients and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner
* Social Media & Email Marketing
* Create monthly KPI reports
* Supporting AV Hughes Properties director, with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks

Requirements:

* Prioritising tasks when there are multiple demands on your time
* Staying organised and keeping track of multiple tasks and responsibilities
* Assisting in ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and repeat bookings
* Experience in short-term rental management
* Strong organisational and communication skills – especially the ability to follow up with guests and the team on issues
* Good communication skills in English
* Familiarity with , , , Excel, Canva, Gmail would be an advantage
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Ability to handle emergency situations in a professional manner
* Experienced working with AirBnb &
* Maths skills to enable you to send through cost effective pricing to potential new bookings
