ACU Signs, a leading provider of high-quality sign solutions, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estimator to join our dynamic team. As a highly respected organization in the signage industry, we take pride in our innovative approach to design, fabrication, and installation of a wide variety of signages for businesses of all sizes.

In the role of Estimator, your primary responsibility will be to calculate precise cost estimates for our unique sign projects. This will involve a deep understanding of the design, materials, labor, and equipment required for each project. Working closely with the design and production teams, as well as suppliers and clients, you’ll play an integral role in helping projects come to fruition while ensuring they are financially viable and meet the client’s budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately estimate the costs of proposed projects, including materials, labor, and equipment necessary for product manufacturing and installation.
* Collaborate with sales, design, and production teams to ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and profitable.
* Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing.
* Prepare and present detailed reports or bids for clients and for internal use.
* Track and analyze project costs, and prepare reports on project outcomes compared to the estimates.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and the availability of materials and labor.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. You have previous experience in estimation, ideally within the sign or related industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills are crucial, as you’ll be working with various teams and external suppliers. Proficiency in using estimating software is a plus.
