Hi there, we are looking for a video editor to create videos and also as a virtual assistant. When you’re not editing videos, you’ll be working as a virtual assistant. For video editing/creation, scripts and voice-overs will be provided. These will be YouTube videos (long-form videos) and short-form videos (ex. Shorts, Reels, Tiktok, etc.).
When you’re on board, you’ll be placed on a probationary period, to closely evaluate your skills and performance.
When you’re on probation, the starting pay will be $20 per video. Approximately $240/month if you create 3 videos a week. The videos will be about 8 minutes long (they vary). The better you become, the more room you have to grow. The more videos you create, the more you can earn.
Once you’re out of the probationary period, you’ll be assuming the role of video editor and assistant. The pay will be at $400/month.
Important things to note for the video editor:
– Incorporate music/sound effects that are royalty free (no copyrighted music).
– Create engaging videos (Every couple of seconds or so, there should be some movements on the screen).
– Understand the YouTube copyright system.
– Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus.
– Know how to use software to generate captions.
– Must be collaborative.
– Must be a team player.
– Must be able to multitask and work efficiently.
– Must be able to meet deadlines.
– Must be able to use good judgment.
– Fluent in English.
