As we advance towards the final stages of development, our focus is on refining the platform’s design while ensuring robust backend functionality. We are seeking a seasoned Web Developer with a stronger inclination towards frontend development (65%) without overlooking the backend coding requirements (35%), to refine and finalize our project as we transition into the testing phase.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. **Frontend Development (65%):**
– Lead the initiative to refine and modernize the platform’s interface to ensure a user-centric, intuitive, and modern design.
– Employ cutting-edge frontend technologies to optimize the user experience, ensuring seamless navigation and operational efficiency.
– Integrate visual elements aligning with our brand and aesthetic guidelines.
– Review and optimize the current design to improve load times and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

2. **Backend Development (35%):**
– Customize and modify existing plugins to ensure seamless integration and adherence to the platform’s functionality requirements.
– Accurately integrate Stripe payment systems and identity verification workflows to fortify site security and usability.
– Troubleshoot, debug, and improve the existing code to enhance performance and scalability.
– Align backend functionality with frontend enhancements to ensure a cohesive user experience.

Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in frontend development, with a robust portfolio showcasing modern, user-centric designs.
2. Proven expertise in PHP, WordPress, and Colibri, with a strong understanding of backend development principles.
3. Experience in modifying plugins, tweaking pre-existing code, and integrating payment and identity verification systems.
4. A systematic, problem-solving mindset, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
5. Familiarity with project management tools like Basecamp is desirable, although not mandatory.
6. Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Compensation and Work Arrangement:

1. The salary is set at 20,000 PHP per month, paid weekly directly to any Philippine bank account or GCash.

3. Communication and project coordination will be conducted over Basecamp; no video interviews or voice calls are required.
