Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Smartphone Applications Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing applications for BOTH iOS and Android platforms. In addition, they should possess expertise in integrating Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) into applications. This position requires the ability to design new apps, as well as maintain and enhance our existing portfolio of apps. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functionality of our applications by testing against new operating system (OS) version releases and hardware changes.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and implement high-quality smartphone applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

· Create intuitive user interfaces and engaging user experiences.

· Integrate Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality into applications, enabling seamless communication with compatible devices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to gather requirements and translate them into application features and functionalities.

· Maintain and enhance our existing apps by troubleshooting and resolving any bugs, crashes, or performance issues.

· Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure compatibility with new OS versions and hardware changes, providing timely updates and fixes as required.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply them to improve our application development processes and deliverables.

· Work closely with the quality assurance team to perform rigorous testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.

· Collaborate with the technical support team to investigate and resolve customer-reported issues and provide timely solutions.

· Collaborate with firmware engineers to create a harmonious product and application package that is intuitive and appealing to users.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

· Proven experience in developing and releasing smartphone applications for both iOS and Android platforms.

· Strong programming skills in languages such as Swift, Java, or Kotlin.

· In-depth knowledge and experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) integration in mobile applications.

· Familiarity with software development methodologies, coding standards, and version control systems.

· Proficiency in using development tools, such as Xcode, Android Studio, or Visual Studio, and familiarity with debugging and performance optimization techniques.

· Solid understanding of mobile application design principles, user interface guidelines, and best practices.

· Ability to effectively troubleshoot and debug complex application issues.

· Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools is a plus.

· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Strong English communication skills and teamwork abilities.
