We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Manager to oversee our company’s social media strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, an in-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, and experience in developing and executing social media campaigns. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating content, analyzing performance metrics, and fostering a strong online community.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
Content Creation:
Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) across various platforms.
Develop a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule and maintain brand voice.
Community Management:
Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and manage online interactions.
Foster a positive community and add value to user interactions to build brand loyalty and advocacy.
Campaign Management:
Plan, execute, and monitor social media advertising campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
Collaborate with marketing, PR, and other departments to coordinate efforts and ensure a cohesive brand message.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, conversion rates) to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
Generate regular reports and insights for senior management, suggesting improvements and adjustments as needed.
Brand Development:
Ensure all social media content is consistent with the company’s branding, positioning, and voice.
Collaborate with designers, writers, and other team members to produce high-quality content.
Influencer Collaboration:
Identify and engage with social media influencers and brand ambassadors to expand the company’s reach.
Manage relationships and coordinate influencer marketing initiatives.
Crisis Management:
Monitor social media channels for potential issues and respond appropriately to mitigate any negative impact.
Develop and implement crisis communication plans as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads).
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in graphic design or video production.
Familiarity with SEO and web traffic metrics.
Knowledge of web design and publishing.
