Overview:

As a Social Media and Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage target audiences, and drive business objectives. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the organization’s social media presence, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand image across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media and Marketing

– Strategy Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
Conduct research to stay updated of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social media technologies.

– Content Creation and Curation:
Create engaging, high-quality content for various social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
Curate relevant content from industry sources to share with the audience and maintain an active content calendar.

– Platform Management:
Manage and optimize social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
Stay up-to-date with each platform’s algorithms and features to maximize organic reach and engagement.

– Community Engagement:
Foster and nurture a strong online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
Monitor conversations related to the brand and industry, addressing both positive and negative sentiments.

– Analytics and Reporting:
Utilize social media analytics tools to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
Prepare regular reports detailing the performance of social media campaigns and provide insights for continuous improvement.

– Campaign Management:
Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to meet specific marketing objectives.

Business Development

– Market Research
Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities and staying informed about industry trends.
Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.

– Lead Generation
Generating leads through various channels and identifying potential clients or partners for business growth.

– Relationship Building
Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders to foster business connections.
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.

– Sales Strategy
Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business development goals.
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

– Networking
Actively participating in networking events, industry conferences, and other forums to expand the organization’s reach.

– Collaboration
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.

– Negotiation
Negotiating terms, contracts, and agreements with clients or partners to secure favorable business deals.

– Data Analysis
Analyzing data and metrics to evaluate the success of business development strategies and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

– Client Retention
Developing strategies to retain and grow existing client relationships through upselling and additional service offerings.

– Feedback Integration
Gathering feedback from clients and incorporating it into the business development process to enhance products or services.

– Continuous Learning
Staying informed about industry best practices and trends, adapting strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

– Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
– Proven experience in Business Development.
– In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
– Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
– Proficient in social media analytics tools.
– Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
– Excellent time management and organizational skills.
– Experience with social media advertising is a plus.
