VA Loan Processor/ Mortgage Agent

We are currently seeking a skilled and high-producing mortgage processor to work with the mortgage brokers/Agents on our team. Roles :
We are looking for an efficient Mortgage Loan Processor to process mortgage loan files and help clients submit complete applications. You will gather all necessary documentation and spot mistakes to ensure approval for the mortgage.
If you want to succeed as a mortgage loan processor, you should be highly detail oriented. Customer service and communication skills are key since you’ll be the glue that binds all interested parties, from clients to underwriters. Mortgage loan processors should also have an aptitude in math and excellent time management skills.

Duties:

• Work with the borrower to gather financial information such as credit reports, verify the accuracy to determine creditworthiness, and complete the mortgage loan application
• Order property and loan documentation such as appraisals, inspections, purview searches, contracts, and property tax records to help process mortgage loan files
• Prepare and submit detailed loan packages to the lender underwriter for approval or denial
• Act as a liaison between applicants, mortgage brokers, real estate agents, and mortgage lending underwriters to help further loan approval
• Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies
• Maintain detailed documentation of the process in our system – from origination to close

Skills:

• Proven experience as mortgage loan processor or similar position
• Understanding of loan underwriting and processing procedures
• Knowledge of legislation and best practices
• Proficient in mortgage loan computer software (e.g. Velocity, Zoho, High-level and Follow Up Boss, etc )
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Well-organized and able to handle pressure
• Math skills
• High school diploma; bachelor’s will be preferred

Pay structure:
500 /month with bonuses available based off of productivity

Tasks:

? Call old leads in database
? Reach out to 50 people a day ( LinkedIn, instagram, TikTok)(realtors, accountants, bank mortgage advisors, builders, financial planners, insurance agents)
? Document follow up with leads
? Appointment setting
? Order appraisals
? Collect documents and organize in google drive
? Update CRM
? Intake calls
? Document process
