Virtual Rockstar is seeking a full-time Social Media and Podcast Manager to collaborate with our CEO. The Social Media and Podcast Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, managing content for our social media channels, and creating engaging short-form video content from our podcasts. We are looking for a social media person who knows how to edit and follow the style from past podcasts. The position involves regular participation in team meetings and close coordination with the team to enhance our social media presence and podcast outreach. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing social media accounts and managing video content, as well as a strategic and creative mindset.

Requirements

Experience in Social Media Management:
Proficiency in creating and implementing social media strategies.
Experience in growing social media channels.
Ability to manage and plan social media content.
Strong understanding of branding and marketing.

Video Editing Skills:
Basic to moderate video editing capabilities.
Familiarity with video editing software and AI tools that assist in video editing.
Ability to create short-form video content from podcasts and other media.
Experience in editing podcasts, and able to follow the style from Will’s past podcasts.

Team Integration:
Ability to join and participate in team meetings regularly.
Good communication skills to coordinate with team members.

Proven Track Record:
Evidence of past success in growing social media accounts and managing video content.
Examples of previous work or case studies demonstrating effectiveness.

Full-Time Availability:
Availability to work full-time on growing the social media presence and managing podcast-related tasks.

Strategic and Creative Thinking:
Capability to devise innovative strategies for social media growth and engagement.
Creative skills to enhance the visual and content appeal of social media channels.

Technical Proficiency:
Knowledge of tools like Descript, VEED, or other AI-powered video editing software.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics.
