Social Media Assistant (#2834)

Phillip Ngo State Farm is currently seeking a Social Media Assistant who focuses in video editing. This is a business coach company who simplify insurance and finances for families and businesses so they can secure success. They provide personalized advice and build tailored insurance and financial plans with a full array of financial products: car, home, life, disability, long-term care insurance, business insurance, workers’ compensation, retirement planning, college savings, index funds, etc.

Responsibilities:
– Create visually appealing and engaging video content, primarily focusing on reels for various social media platforms
– Post and schedule content on multiple social media channels, ensuring timely and consistent updates in line with the brand’s guidelines and tone
– Set up and maintain automation tools and systems to streamline content distribution and management across various platforms
– Regularly track and analyze content performance on each social media channel, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
– Network with a targeted audience to grow our following and engagement
– Work closely with team members to align social media efforts with overall marketing and business goals

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a social media assistant or similar role
– Excellent knowledge of video editing software and social media platforms
– Strong communication, writing, and editing skills
– Demonstrable understanding of social media best practices, trends, and analytics
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– High-speed internet connection and a reliable computer

Note: Knowing how to navigate Descript, Canva + ChatGPT, and Simplified or other Social Media scheduling tools is preferred.
Working hours: (PACIFIC STANDARD TIME)
Option A: 3 PM – 12 PM PST (this would be 6 AM – 12 PM Manila time)
Option B: 10 AM – 6 PM PST (1 AM – 9 AM Manila time)
40 hours or more a week
