We seek a proactive and diligent Social Media Assistant to manage and grow our presence on Facebook and Nextdoor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for engaging with our community, expanding our network, and maintaining the high standard of interaction our customers expect.

Responsibilities:

Facebook Management:
• Share posts according to a predetermined Facebook group calendar across 7 profiles.
• Join new Facebook groups to maintain active group memberships.
• Actively search for and engage with posts asking for referrals.
• Respond to all comments and messages, filtering out spam.

Nextdoor Management:
• Post content on six different Nextdoor accounts with varying frequencies.
• Engage with referral requests and contribute to community discussions.
• Send friend requests and follow new neighborhoods to expand our reach.

Community Engagement:
• Ensure all interactions represent the company’s core values and enhance our brand image.
• Monitor social media trends to optimize engagement strategies.
• Report regularly on engagement metrics and suggest improvements.

Requirements:
• Proven experience managing business accounts on Facebook and Nextdoor.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage positively with communities.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple profiles and schedules.
• Understanding of social media analytics and performance reporting.
• Fluent in English with exceptional writing and editing skills.
