Social Media Brand Strategist

I am looking for an experienced social media marketer to join me full-time. If you’re from The Philippines, this means that you’ll be working regular hours since we’re in the same time zone.

Your job is to make sure that my brand, as Singapore’s number 1 Financial Advocator, becomes famous and to get me as many leads and clients as possible.

Training is provided.

I am a financial consultant in one of the most prestigious Financial Advisory firm in Singapore. Unlike the others in my industry, my prime focus is to raise the awareness of having strong financial literacy and to influence people to take full charge of their financial planning at every stage of their lives. My job directly impacts lives and creates sustainability and grows people’s wealth.

I believe in using financial advocacy, relatable stories and up-to-date relevant statistics, tools to educate my clients to make sound financial decisions and planning for themselves.

As my social media brand strategist, you will be responsible for building up my brand image across all social media platforms, acquiring more followers and subscribers and ultimately, getting potential prospects to meet up with me through zoom (calendly appointments).

[[ THE TYPE OF WORK THAT I WOULD REQUIRE ]]

Research the type and style of content that’s working at the moment for the personal finance industry in Singapore
Video editing
Producing Tiktok videos, Instagram/Facebook Reels, and Youtube shorts
Research trending hashtags, audio, keyword tags (Youtube) to be used when posting my content
Optimising my content for discoverability and promoting my content to my audience once it’s posted.
Graphic design
Image posts on Instagram, Tiktok, and Facebook
Copywriting and design for my email newsletters,
Copywriting and design for my Ebooks

[[ ABOVE AVERAGE BASIC PAY + A LOT OF BONUSES + ADDITIONAL REWARDS ]]

Your remuneration is not just your basic pay.
I will be rewarding you a lot ($50 to $150) and in crazy frequencies (up to 5 times per month) so long as your KPIs are met. What’s more? You shall earn additional bonuses too if the leads you got in for me gets converted into sales.

You will likely be looking at a 4-figure monthly income in USD with this FULL time job.

You’ll be working very closely with me, and since you are applying for the social media brand strategist, I want someone who has ideas too, not just someone who follows instructions blindly and has no initiative or ideas to do things better.

I have high expectations of you because you are going to be my right hand man/woman. You are going to help me ease/assist my workload, so that I can focus on tasks/work that generate revenue for the business.

Although you’ll be working remotely ~90% of the time, I might get you in to interact and learn from some of the top marketers and coaches in Singapore.

There might be times where you’re required to come to Singapore. So be prepared to hop on the plane. And if that happens, air ticket and accommodation is paid for.

[[YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES]]

Work with me to build on my brand image.
Follow the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and my company’s compliance and guidelines (I will walk you through once you are onboarded with me!)
Learn some of the financial terms that are commonly used in Singapore
Edit social media graphics, posters, workbooks, logos, and other publication and marketing materials
Repurpose and publish my content into compelling social media posts and graphics from the videos I produce.
Video editing and be able to produce high-quality short form content
Initiate to explore and propose strategies on how to further make our graphics more engaging and attractive to our target market
Daily social media engagement
Weekly video, graphic and post uploading to various social media platform through our automated system
Present all designs / outputs to me for evaluation on a weekly basis (KPI will be given)

[[REQUIREMENTS]]

Hardware, technology and environment
Your own laptop
Stable high-speed internet connection
Separate, closed-off space in your home office, where background sounds will not be heard. If that’s not 100% possible, having a noise-cancelling headphone and mic will do just fine.
Power generator and/or contingency plans for power brownouts, natural disasters, and personal emergencies.

Social Media
Proven experience in social media management, particularly Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Youtube
Strong knowledge of lead generation tactics and experience in outbound lead generation on social media.
Familiarity with the YouTube platform, including understanding of metrics, subscriber counts, and content types.
Grow my followers to 50K on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
Actively engage my followers on all social media platforms.

Skillsets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (native level of English). Be expected to take a proficiency test should you apply.
Has a background experience in video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro and/or After Effects .Vector drawings using Illustrator or digital illustration.
Can design for both digital and print materials
Read articles/news and turn abstract information into create easy-to-understand visual content (eg., infographics)
Is very knowledgeable on using Photoshop, Canva or other graphic design tools

Ability to work independently and proactively
Has the ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
Has the ability to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneously
And lastly, has a strong desire to improve and grow.
