Social Media Content Creation (Video Editor + Image Editor)

Hey there, we are running a successful e-commerce PET brand and looking for a video/image editor to craft engaging content for social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Responsibilities:

– Edit 15 TikTok-style short-form videos per month that resonate with our pet-loving audience.
– Produce 20 visually appealing image posts for Facebook and Instagram per month.
– Edit Raw videos we will provide you with captions, transitions, music, and effects to maximize engagement.
– Stay up-to-date with trends in the US social media landscape, especially in the dog niche.
– Collaborate with our marketing team to align content with our brand’s messaging and goals.
– Provide regular updates on content progress and be open to feedback for revisions and improvements.

Requirements:

– Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and Image editing software(e.g., Adobe photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, etc. ). Let us know what softwares you are proficient in for creating Video/Image posts, in your cover letter along with ‘gotcha’.
– Strong creative and storytelling skills.
– Ability to research current trends in social media, particularly in the pet/dog niche, and generate Viral posts.
– Experience in content creation for social media platforms.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
– Excellent communication skills.

Budget: Fixed Base Retainer – $450

Monthly Performance Bonus:

– Content Virality: when a post reaches a certain level of virality, such as a high number of shares or mentions on social media platforms. E.g., if a tiktok video hits 100k+ views, you’ll receive $100 bonus

– Consistency: consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining a steady posting schedule.

– Engagement Rate: achieving at least 10% of likes, comments, and shares relative to the number of followers.
