Cooki Haircare is a natural haircare company based in Sydney, Australia. Founded in 2020, Cooki came to life from two obsessions: to reduce plastic waste in the world, and to lessen the amount of chemicals we’re all exposing ourselves to in our beauty products everyday. We sell ultra-foaming natural shampoo bars that actually work, plus conditioner and body bars and sustainable accessories. We are now stocked in a range of healthfood shops around the country and have seen strong growth in 2024.

Cooki makes it easy for people to make small, but important changes to their daily routine that are good for them and the planet, with products made from clean ingredients, that are fun to use. We are also passionate about creating an inclusive, energetic, environmentally-conscious and inspirational work environment.
Role Overview

We are now looking for a Social Content Creator for (10) hours per week who can help drive our growth on organic socials on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

If you’re an outgoing ‘people person’ with a love for social content, you’re in the right place. Our new Social Media Content Creator will be primarily focused on creating video content for channels including Tik Tok, Facebook and Instagram for our Gen X and Millennial audience.

This role is highly creative and requires thinking outside of the box to bring new content ideas to the forefront weekly, and filming and editing content. Reporting to the Founder, you’ll work together on developing creative direction and relevant content required across Cooki’s social media channels.

Responsibilities:

Ideating new ideas for what to post each week across channels, brainstorming with the Founder.
Video content creation in platforms like CapCut and statics in Canva.
Ensuring our brand guidelines and tone of voice are upheld across channels.
Staying across trends, moving quickly to keep Cooki Haircare creating timely content.
Sending final content to the Founder for review.

About You

You have a gut instinct for which content will land with our customers, and love scrolling TikTok for the latest trends. You know how to create content for different channels.
You’re a natural ideator and love brainstorming and bringing ideas to life.
You are adaptable and have a willingness to learn new things.
You understand the power of being organised and know your way around a marketing calendar and a to-do list.
You have an interest in the beauty and e-commerce space and love the idea of working for a rapidly scaling haircare brand.
