Job Description

As a Social Media Virtual Assistant at our day spa, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our target audience, and driving brand awareness through various social media platforms. You will be responsible for executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, managing online communities, and monitoring key performance metrics. We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and self-motivated individual with a passion for social media marketing and an understanding of the spa / massage/ skin care industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management:
o Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
o Develop a content calendar aligned with the company’s marketing objectives and seasonal promotions.
o Identify and engage with relevant industry influencers, customers, and partners to build brand relationships and increase brand visibility.
2. Content Creation:
o Produce high-quality visual and written content, including graphics, images, videos, blog posts, and infographics, to engage the target audience and drive traffic to our website.
o Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all social media channels.
o Research industry trends and related topics to develop informative and compelling content.
3. Analytics and Reporting:
o Monitor social media analytics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on campaign performance and audience engagement.
o Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
o Make data-driven recommendations to optimize social media strategies and achieve better results.
4. Community Management:
o Foster a positive and engaging online community by actively responding to comments, questions, and reviews.
o Identify potential brand advocates and develop strategies to encourage user-generated content and customer testimonials.
o Stay up to date with industry news and engage in relevant conversations to establish the company as a thought leader.
5. Social Media Advertising:
o Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage paid social media campaigns, including ad creation, targeting, monitoring, and optimization.
o Stay updated on the latest social media advertising trends, tools, and best practices to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Social Media Virtual Assistant or similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools and video editing software is preferred.
• Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
• Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Passion for the spa – wellness industry and willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and strategies.
