They will collaborate closely with me weekly, travel managers, and project stakeholders to create compelling content, drive customer engagement, and promote my brand within the African American and Caribbean communities.

Responsibilities: Social Media Content Creation:
• Develop and implement social media content strategies tailored specifically for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.
• Create visually appealing and engaging content for social media channels, highlighting our Jamaican seasoning food brand, Caribbean culture, and travel experiences.
• Craft compelling and authentic copy for all social media posts, captions, and advertisements, ensuring it resonates with the urban African American and Caribbean audience.
• Collaborate with the design team to create high-quality graphics, videos, and other visual elements that align with the target market.
• Stay updated on social media trends within the urban African American and Caribbean communities to maintain an innovative and relevant online presence.
• Monitor social media metrics, track campaign effectiveness, and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Engage with the online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Email Campaigns and Promotions:
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including drafting engaging newsletters, promotional emails, and customer communications.
• Craft compelling subject lines and email content that captures the attention of our target audience.
• Segment email lists based on customer preferences and demographics to ensure targeted and personalized communication.
• Collaborate with me to create visually appealing email templates and graphics.
• Monitor email campaign performance, track open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, and provide insights for optimization.
• Conduct A/B testing to enhance email campaign performance and engagement.
• Maintain email marketing best practices, including compliance with privacy regulations and email deliverability standards.

Travel Company Assistance:
• Provide comprehensive support in managing our travel company, including organizing travel dates, managing travel logistics, and handling travel documents.
• Assist with project management tasks related to travel packages and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with travel managers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of our food brand and travel offerings.
• Stay updated on travel trends, destinations, and Caribbean culture to inform content creation, travel package development, and customer interactions.

Qualifications:
• Background in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in social media content creation, email marketing, and travel management.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create compelling and authentic content.
• Deep understanding of the urban African American and Caribbean market, including cultural nuances, preferences, and trends.
