Job Description

We are seeking a Social Media Content Creator/Manager with a strong background in social media advertising. This individual will play a critical role in educating and engaging our audience on topics related to personal finance, investments, and financial planning through various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of financial concepts and regulations, along with exceptional content creation and social media skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation: With the aid of monthly research material which will be provided. We require development, curation, and schedule informative and engaging content related to personal finance, investment strategies, retirement planning, tax planning, and other financial topics for various social media platforms.
2. Content Strategy: Develop and implement a content strategy to provide valuable and actionable financial advice. Ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with our brand’s voice and values.
3. Audience Engagement: Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, offering financial advice, and fostering a community of individuals interested in financial planning.
4. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of financial content and campaigns. Use data to optimize content strategies and improve engagement.
5. Compliance: Ensure that all financial content complies with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and compliance teams to align financial content with broader marketing strategies and regulatory requirements.
7. Content Calendar: Maintain a content calendar to plan and schedule financial content in advance.
8. Promotional Campaigns: Collaborate on paid advertising campaigns to promote financial planning services and products, adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for a general audience.
2. Proficiency in graphic design and multimedia content creation tools especially Canva.
3. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
4. Ability to interpret social media analytics and apply insights to financial content optimisation.
5. Creative thinking and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends in both finance and social media.
6. Strong time management and organizational skills.
