Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Content Creator & Editor. This role involves crafting engaging content, editing videos, and designing eye-catching thumbnails for various social media platforms. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in content creation but also has a keen understanding of social media trends and audience preferences.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Develop and execute creative content strategies for different social media channels.
Generate engaging written, graphic, and video content that aligns with brand objectives.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate fresh ideas into content creation.
Video Editing:
Edit and produce high-quality, engaging video content for diverse social media platforms.
Use video editing software to enhance and optimize content for maximum impact.
Collaborate with team members to ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines.
Thumbnail & Design:
Create visually appealing and clickable thumbnails for videos and other social media posts.
Design graphics and images that complement and enhance social media content.
Maintain consistency in design elements across various platforms.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in social media content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of written, graphic, and video content.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Get Munch, Descript, Camo, CapCut, Captions) and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva). Any tools you like to use outside of these please let me know.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand promotion.
Education and Experience:
Experience in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
Previous experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role is preferred.
