Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Content Manager to join our team as a virtual assistant. As the Social Media Content Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning and implementing our long-term social media strategy, managing day-to-day content creation, and ensuring the seamless execution of our goals. Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Editing:

– Develop engaging and consistent content across Instagram, TikTok, and potential future platforms.
– Edit and optimize videos for various social media channels.

Content Planning:

– Collaborate with the brand owner to create a 30, 60, and 90-day content plan.
– Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant hashtags.

Audience Engagement:

– Monitor comments and direct messages, responding promptly and fostering community engagement.
– Implement strategies to increase audience interaction and participation.

Monetization Support:

– Assist in the creation and launch of digital products.
– Identify and reach out to potential brand deals, sponsorships, and collaboration opportunities.

Task Management:

– Manage Google Workspace, organizing digital assets and intellectual property.
– Integrate Google Calendar for task scheduling and milestone tracking.

Video and Caption Creation:

– Edit and create engaging videos for Reels, TikToks, and YouTube content.
– Develop compelling captions for social media posts.

Qualifications:

– A portfolio of previous social media work.
– Proven experience in social media content creation and management.
– Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
– Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant social media platforms.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Familiarity with Google Workspace and task management tools.
– Passionate about empowerment, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
