LMS (Last Man Standing App) Social Media Content Manager

The role:
– Take the lead on creating and managing multiple social media accounts for an interactive sports app on TikTok, Facebook & Instagram posting premier league football videos and content to drive engagement and increase followers on all accounts.
-Be able to create engaging short-form content for these platforms
– Analyse and understand social media trends and be able to be dynamic in content creation styles
– Show initiative and willingness to take the lead on social media marketing decisions

The ideal candidate has:
– Experience in social media content creation and/or social media marketing
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Is highly driven, ambitious and motivated to hit performance targets
– Ability to create and post fun football videos on TikTok and Instagram which are successful in generating views, reposts and followers
– A good sense of humour, which could be imparted into the content created at times
– Familiar with English Premier League football teams and players
– An interest in sport (particularly football)

What is the LMS App?
An app to host group football competitions amongst friends against real matches. The current Beta version is based on Euro 2024 fixtures. Users sign up and enter a league with other players and pick teams they think will win fixtures.

The app acts as the host to organise the admin of the game, saving the administrative burden of running leagues with vast numbers of users. The LMS App will launch in August, so we need to initiate a social media profile to try to drive app user growth ready for launch.

The premise of the ‘Last Man Standing’ game
Each user picks a team for the first set of fixtures in the tournament. If their team wins, they are through to the next round. If their team loses or draws, they are out. The next round of fixtures occur with all the users who made it through to Round 2 (Matchday 2) where they pick again. They are not allowed to pick a team they have picked before. The game continues until the last player is left. This player takes the full pot of entry fees.

If a user fails to pick a team in time (each matchday has a deadline of 1 hour before the first match start time) they are automatically allocated the lowest ranked team. This incentivises users to complete their picks in accordance with the timescales.
