Job Description:
The Social Media Content Planner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to increase our online presence, improve marketing efforts, and enhance brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for ecommerce, logistics, and social media trends, combined with the ability to create engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Strategy Development:
– Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with business goals and target audience.
– Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
– Plan and manage content calendars across various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
2. Content Creation and Management:
– Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content including posts, images, videos, infographics, and stories.
– Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing graphics and videos.
– Write compelling copy that aligns with our brand voice and drives engagement.
3. Campaign Management:
– Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote our services, special offers, and industry insights.
– Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools.
– Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
4. Community Engagement:
– Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages in a timely manner, and foster positive interactions.
– Build and nurture relationships with industry influencers and potential brand advocates.
5. SEO and Social Media Optimization:
– Optimize content for SEO to increase visibility and engagement.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
6. Collaboration and Communication:
– Work closely with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels.
– Liaise with internal teams (e.g., customer service, sales) to align content with broader company objectives.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Social Media Content Planner or similar role, preferably within the ecommerce or logistics sector.
– Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Publer) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
– Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
– Strong organizational and time-management skills.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization.
